Not much to say this week. I kind of had a bad week. I kept waking up early and not getting enough sleep. This time of year is kinda terrible for me with daylight savings pushing me to sleep in more peak daylight hours. Temperature is all over the place as well, especially in my apartment, where it can be close to freezing outside and approaching eighty inside due to the sun, and having no control over the heat in my apartment. Finally, I’m back to writing. The latter half of this year has felt like I’ve been focused more on editing than writing. I don’t think I’ll delay a release by more than a week or two in the future, maybe a month at the most. I don’t feel like waiting until October really changed much, but oh well. It was still fun to have a thematic seasonal release. That all said, it was my second-best month of all time, but I have a feeling that’s going to be surpassed by December. Moonrise

This week’s update is simple. I finished editing Elite Ascent. Overall, I again didn’t get as much done this week as I would have liked. With the other two rewrites, I decided against the third. The idea I had didn’t really work out, but given its place in the story, it served as a great transition point. With the other two sections rewritten, the pressure was taken off the third. I’m pretty sure I only have one more and a few spots I want to touch up. My beta readers still need to get back to me on the rewrites and the latter half of the book, but I’m forging ahead either way.
