January 5th, 2026 Update

The start of my 2026 has not gone well. This week has been rough. Nothing major, but annoying. My neighbors have been playing music excessively loud with the bass cranked. I'm really getting tired of living in an apartment. Sound is the easiest way to annoy me, so it's hard for me to concentrate when I have to turn up the volume on my headphones to not drown them out and feel the vibrations of their bass through my keyboard when I'm typing. I'm generally not a person to complain and try to be understanding, but I reached my boil point. So hopefully the landlord will get on them and my new headset that has noise cancelling should help. Otherwise, not much to say this week.

Project Statuses

Primary Project - Lost Mask - 48,100 Words: Between my neighbors and my sleep schedule being disturbed, I lost a lot of writing time. I was able to catch up though so I managed to stay on par. That said, the story is progressing nicely. I'm writing chapter 15 right now, and it's transitioning between on section of the book to the next, and I'm excited to get into the next section.
