January 12th, Update 2026

It was a pretty decent week. I wrote more than the minimum and had nothing unpleasant happen, at least to me personally. This week is likely to be a bit more difficult. I have an appointment for my vehicle this morning, and I'm waiting for a response to an email to set up an appointment concerning one of my major goals for the year. I will not say anything beyond that, but I'm both excited and anxious. Beyond those, I have a couple of chores I really should get done this week. As usual, I'll do my best to keep up and reach my stretch goals, but we'll see.

Project Statuses

Primary Project - Lost Mask - 55,000 Words: Despite suffering from the usual Tuesday curse, which is basically my Sunday where I want to relax before my weekend ends, I wrote extra this week. It's still not quite where I want to be, but I'm working on it. As stated above, this week might be a bit disruptive, but I'll keep pushing to reach my stretch goals. As for the story, I've completed the transition and am firmly in the next section of the book.
