It was an interesting week. I'm very glad that I got my tires replaced on Monday, because Saturday-Sunday was a huge snowstorm. Beyond that, I had extra days off, but with some of the personal issues I was dealing with, I only got an average amount of writing done. Looking forward, I have the release of Elite Ascent, my birthday, Christmas, and New Year's Day to all contend with in December. This week was another up and down week. I’m still getting back into the swing of writing. I didn’t get anything more than the minimum done, but hey, I’ll always take standard progress. This week is very up in the air, though. My car is in for new tires and a few issues. The tires are going to be expensive, but that’s normal; it’s the other issues that I’m worried about. Not much to say this week. I kind of had a bad week. I kept waking up early and not getting enough sleep. This time of year is kinda terrible for me with daylight savings pushing me to sleep in more peak daylight hours. Temperature is all over the place as well, especially in my apartment, where it can be close to freezing outside and approaching eighty inside due to the sun, and having no control over the heat in my apartment. Finally, I’m back to writing. The latter half of this year has felt like I’ve been focused more on editing than writing. I don’t think I’ll delay a release by more than a week or two in the future, maybe a month at the most. I don’t feel like waiting until October really changed much, but oh well. This week’s update is simple. I finished editing Elite Ascent. Overall, I again didn’t get as much done this week as I would have liked. With the other two rewrites, I decided against the third. The idea I had didn’t really work out, but given its place in the story, it served as a great transition point. With the other two sections rewritten, the pressure was taken off the third.
