Not much to report this week. I'm still in limbo on the audiobooks and I had a par week. That being said, Lost Mask has a rough plan for how I'm going to end the book. I'm looking at about eight to ten scenes in the current section, and then three to four chapters to close out the book. The scenes in the current section may not take up a full chapter each, but we'll see. This means we're still looking at about 30-40k words, putting me right around the predicted 150k mark, but

March 16th, 2026 Update
Not much to report this week. The narrator for The Ashes series has been selected. I doubt they'll be doing a live performance, so to be safe and not violate my contracts at all, I'll wait to announce who it is until the first book has a release date or I notice the narrator has announced it themselves somewhere. Otherwise, I've had a fairly standard week. I'm safe and staying inside until this snowstorm passes. I hope everyone has a good week. Project Status Lost Mask - 104,

March 9th, 2026 Update
Not much news to pass on this week. Tess finished recording, and I got some sleep. That's about all. I don't know when the audiobook version will be out. I'm guessing June or July. They have to give it to their editors, have Tess rerecord any small portions that need fixes, then it needs to be mastered and whatever else goes into making an audiobook. As for the Ashes series, waiting on Podium to come back with a short list of narrators, so right now, everything is in limbo. P

March 2nd, 2026 Update
There is not much to tell this week. It was pretty much a repeat of last week. I got a little more writing done, but lack of sleep kept me from putting forward a full effort. Tess is getting pretty close to being done. She's not recording today, but indicated she's going to try to finish Tuesday. So I'm planning to grab the bull by the horns and try to play a bit of catch up. We'll see, but I'm definitely aiming to be above par for the week. I did commission a new piece of ar

February 23rd, 2026 Update
Hiya! I had a surprisingly productive week, considering how I trashed my sleep schedule. It wasn't what I wouldn't normally consider on par for a week, but considering the work to prepare the Ashes series for audiobooks and listening in on Tess recording, I'm happy with the progress for the week. Listening in on Tess has been awesome, apart from nearly dying from mortification when she got to the first spicy section. Unfortunately, Tess caught a cold, so it may be a few days

Moonrise Recording
Hello everyone. I just got a message from Tess Irondale. She believes she'll start recording Moonrise tomorrow. She'll be live in her server around 10am US Eastern and will conduct a short interview with me at 11am. You can listen in on her discord http://www.discord.gg/readmylips

Squee!!!!!! It has been a crazy week. First and foremost, Tess Irondale had a last-minute opening, and Moonrise is taking it. She should be recording live on her Discord server by the end of the week. I'll make an update when I know exactly when. Second, cause this week wasn't crazy enough, The Ashes of My Many Lives has been picked up as well. The process is just starting, but this means that one of my largest goals for the year has been accomplished. I'm so excited and happ

February 9th, 2025 Update
Phew, this week... To put it simply, I fell behind and did not get caught back up. I had a number of chores and obligations that needed to be done. I got most of them done, and the last one I'm going to do tomorrow shouldn't cause any emotional turmoil. Tax increases, having to pay in instead of getting a tax return, pronunciation guides for podium, meeting family and friends, and just not being able to get a full night's sleep the entire week just added up to me being a wrec

Febuary 02, 2025 Update
I hope everyone's January went well. I know that's... difficult for a lot of people, my hopes and prayers go out to those who haven't. That said, my January started out rough, but I've taken the first steps toward one of my major goals. I finally spoke about it in a Patreon post, so I'll speak of it here as well. Moonrise is going into production for audiobook production. We're still in the early stages, so I can't say exactly when it will be out. My first three books haven't

January 26th, 2026 Update
Nothing much to talk about this week. I didn't get as much done as I wanted, but I'm a little bit ahead for the week. Considering the cold sapping any motivation to do anything but curl up and read a book under a warm blanket, I'll take it. Highs of -15° F is... just bleh. I did get the cover art for Lost Mask, but otherwise, that's all I have to report, stay warm people. So the week was overall good, but my writing suffered a bit. I made good progress towards one of my major goals, but I'm waiting until things have progressed a bit more before I announce it. It's going to create some work for me that might slow down my writing a bit, but I'm excited either way. Sorry about being a bit closemouthed about it, I just want things to progress to a certain point. Until then it almost doesn't feel real to me. Project Statuses Primary Project - Lost

January 12th, Update 2026
It was a pretty decent week. I wrote more than the minimum and had nothing unpleasant happen, at least to me personally. This week is likely to be a bit more difficult. I have an appointment for my vehicle this morning, and I'm waiting for a response to an email to set up an appointment concerning one of my major goals for the year. I will not say anything beyond that, but I'm both excited and anxious. Beyond those, I have a couple of chores I really should get done this week

January 5th, 2026 Update
The start of my 2026 has not gone well. This week has been rough. Nothing major, but annoying. My neighbors have been playing music excessively loud with the bass cranked. I'm really getting tired of living in an apartment. Sound is the easiest way to annoy me, so it's hard for me to concentrate when I have to turn up the volume on my headphones to not drown them out and feel the vibrations of their bass through my keyboard when I'm typing. I'm generally not a person to compl

December/2025 Wrap Up & New Year Resolutions
December December has been a mixed bag, at least where my writing has been concerned. I've been struggling to do more than my minimum goal each week, and I'm behind by about 3,300 words on Lost Mask. December also contains both my birthday and Christmas, so if I take those into account, I'm not as far behind, but it's nowhere near where I want to be, especially if I want to meet some goals I have for 2026. That all said, December hasn't been too stressful, which was nice. For

December 29th, 2025 Update
I'm going to keep this short this week as I'll be making another post later in the week. Not much to report this week. As expected, this week was a bit hard for writing between visiting family and exhaustion from my sleep schedule being messed up. Otherwise, the holiday week was fairly relaxing. Project Statuses Primary Project - Lost Mask - 42,000 Words: As I said above, I fell short this week, but that's to be expected the week of Christmas. That being said, I only fell sho

December 22nd, 2025 Update
A simple week, up and down in both the weather and my writing, but it was a decent week. Not much to say really. This next week I'm expecting to fall behind, but it's Christmas, so I'll be visiting family. I'm going to try not to, but we'll see. It's that time of year, so I'm not too worried about it. I wish everyone to have a good week and Happy Holidays. Project Statuses Primary Project - Lost Mask - 37,300 Words: Had some slow days, had some good days. I'm still not anywhe

December 15th, 2025 Update
I hope everyone's week has gone well. Elite Ascent is already in the black and is doing fairly well. Moonrise is continuing to do good as well and has now outsold Reborn Elite. December is well on its way to beating out November as my best month of sales ever, but we'll have to see. Either way, a great birthday and Christmas to me. I hope everyone is having as good of a December as I am. Other than sales, the week has gone decently. I did not get as much writing done as I hop

December 8th, 2025 Update & Release Day!!!
First and foremost, it's release day for Elite Ascent. There were a lot of preorders, so I hope you all enjoy! You can find the book here . As for the week, not much happened. I had trouble sleeping most days, and that left me struggling to write. I simply did not reach my goals for the week. I'm thinking this week is going to be difficult because I have a lot going on. Today I have all the release day stuff, including registering all my works with the copyright office. Techn

December 1rst, 2025 Update
It was an interesting week. I'm very glad that I got my tires replaced on Monday, because Saturday-Sunday was a huge snowstorm. Beyond that, I had extra days off, but with some of the personal issues I was dealing with, I only got an average amount of writing done. Looking forward, I have the release of Elite Ascent, my birthday, Christmas, and New Year's Day to all contend with in December. That said, I'm expecting it to be my best month for sales yet, which November claimed

November 24th, 2025 Update
This week was another up and down week. I’m still getting back into the swing of writing. I didn’t get anything more than the minimum done, but hey, I’ll always take standard progress. This week is very up in the air, though. My car is in for new tires and a few issues. The tires are going to be expensive, but that’s normal; it’s the other issues that I’m worried about. On top of that, the usual flow of my week is going to be messed up. Usually, the company I work for stays o
