February 16th, 2026 Update

Squee!!!!!! It has been a crazy week. First and foremost, Tess Irondale had a last-minute opening, and Moonrise is taking it. She should be recording live on her Discord server by the end of the week. I'll make an update when I know exactly when. Second, cause this week wasn't crazy enough, The Ashes of My Many Lives has been picked up as well. The process is just starting, but this means that one of my largest goals for the year has been accomplished. I'm so excited and happy, and it just feels surreal. So with that said, this coming week is going to be a bit of a wash, at least writing wise. Today and tomorrow, I'm going to be preparing the materials for the audiobook production of the Elite books. Later in the week, I will be trashing my sleep schedule to listen to Tess record. So yeah, I'm not expecting to make much headway on my writing.

Project Statuses

Primary Project - Lost Mask - 83,000 Words: So I clawed back some progress from the disaster of last week. I'm still not meeting my stretch goals, but at least I'm ahead of par for the week. As stated above, this coming week is going to be a wash, but I'll try to get out at least one more chapter. As for where I am in the book? If I follow my intended plot, I'm around the halfway point. I'm debating cutting it early and saving some of the plot for book 2. If I did that, it would mean the book ends on a bit of a cliffhanger. If that's the case, I'm about two-thirds to three-quarters of the way through the book. We'll have to see as I continue.
