December 8th, 2025 Update & Release Day!!!

First and foremost, it's release day for Elite Ascent. There were a lot of preorders, so I hope you all enjoy! You can find the book here.

As for the week, not much happened. I had trouble sleeping most days, and that left me struggling to write. I simply did not reach my goals for the week. I'm thinking this week is going to be difficult because I have a lot going on. Today I have all the release day stuff, including registering all my works with the copyright office. Technically, I don't need to do this, but in cases where my books are pirated, used to train AI, and become part of a class action suit, then I can make a stronger claim if I have it properly registered. I wrote them; I published them, so by US law I have the copyright, but it's stronger if it's registered. The first time is the most confusing so I'm wading through it. Then I have my birthday this week, not saying which day, but I'll be meeting with my parents for a bit for that. Beyond that are a few things. Since I'm off the entire week I hope to put in extra work on some of the days and play catch up. So yeah, that's where I am. I hope everyone has a good week.

Project Status

Primary Project - Lost Mask - 25,800 Words: As stated above, I struggled this week. Pretty much every time I sat down to write, I felt like I was half asleep. I sleep during the day, and there's snow lingering on the ground, which makes things really, really bright. I need better curtains. One of the projects for the week is to make a cutout to block my bedroom window. I also need a new bed, but long story short, I had a bad week. This week is also going to be difficult for different reasons, but I'm going to push to make up for it. My goal is to finish Chapter Ten by the end of the week. If I can do that, I'll consider the week a success.
