November 24th, 2025 Update

This week was another up and down week. I’m still getting back into the swing of writing. I didn’t get anything more than the minimum done, but hey, I’ll always take standard progress. This week is very up in the air, though. My car is in for new tires and a few issues. The tires are going to be expensive, but that’s normal; it’s the other issues that I’m worried about. On top of that, the usual flow of my week is going to be messed up. Usually, the company I work for stays open during the holidays, but this year, they decided to close, which primarily affects my shift. I’m not complaining about extra days off, and I can use a couple of vacation days to make sure it doesn’t sting as much on my paychecks. However, Friday night is a half-night, which will disrupt my writing. We’ll see, I still want to push for extra, but I might struggle just to stay on par. In other news, November has become my best month of sales to date. I'm absolutely blown away, and I have over a hundred orders for Elite Ascent already, so I'm still confident that December will be an even better month.
Project Updates
Primary Project - Lost Mask - 15,100 Words: An on-par week. I wish I could have done more, but I’ve been having trouble getting back into the flow, and I’ve been stressing over the first portion of the book. I’m almost through with the first section, and I feel I should be able to pick up the pace once I’m past it. I also did my first rewrite. After I got a bad review on Moonrise, I felt I needed to go back and touch it up. The scene was already on my mind; the bad review just brought it to the forefront of my thoughts. I feel I did a good job of fleshing it out more, so I’m happy I did.
