There is not much to tell this week. It was pretty much a repeat of last week. I got a little more writing done, but lack of sleep kept me from putting forward a full effort. Tess is getting pretty close to being done. She's not recording today, but indicated she's going to try to finish Tuesday. So I'm planning to grab the bull by the horns and try to play a bit of catch up. We'll see, but I'm definitely aiming to be above par for the week. I did commission a new piece of art and my artist finished already. It's of my muse. I've imagined my muse as Navi from Zelda for a while because when they get an idea, they won't shut up until I do something about it. So having a fairy over my shoulder shouting 'Hey! Listen!" is just too easy to imagine, and, of course, as soon as the idea popped into my head, she wouldn't shut up.
Project Status
Lost Mask - 91,500 Words: I'm closing in on the first point where I thought about breaking for the end of the book, but it would be pretty short, likely around 110K, which is short for me. The second idea would take a bit more, but it would also end without much action in the latter half of the book. If I go to the intended end, I'm thinking the book could be anywhere from 150k to 180k, which would mean I'm not writing three books this year, but we'll see. I'm going to do what feels good and satisfying.
