August 10th, 2026 Update

Somehow, despite basically not writing for three days this week due to Wednesday (My monday) tiredness and my body giving me issues between a toothache and a sore shoulder, I managed 7k words. Not what I would have liked, but I'll take it considering how crappy this week was. To compound my issues, I was halfway through chapter fifteen and realized I was breaking one of my own rules. To be fair, I didn't intend the starting part to be as long, but it turned out I was trying to cram a spicy scene at the end of a chapter. So I decided to split it into chapters 15 & 16 and flesh them out. The end result was two chapters that went past the upper end of my average chapter length. I'm happy that I took the time reconsider and split them. So yeah, this week was terrible, but I trudged through. This brings Moonshadow to 57k. Beyond that, I don't have anything else to report.
