August 24th, 2026 Update

Another average week really. I got 7500 words in, bringing Moonshadow to 72k. I suffered from the usual tuesday curse, but otherwise hit my 1500 stretch goal the rest of the week. It's coming along nicely, but I'm still not sure how long it's going to be. I have decided to push some content to the next book so I can get all the stuff I want in, but I think it'll make the end of the book more impactful and set up book three nicely. At the same time, it will let me give certain aspects much more space instead of trying to cram them in.

Other than that, the preorder for Reborn Ascent is live on Audible. It's out September 29th, and this is the link https://www.audible.com/pd/B0HFW8948K. Other than that, I ordered the cover art for Moonshadow and the artist is likely to get me the first sketch any time now. I'm experimenting with a few things for this cover. First, I'm getting an extended background. I want to see if I can create covers where it wraps all the way around to the back. I'm also going to have the artist do the Title, series name, and author name to hopefully make them more unique. I'm eager to see what they turn out.
