September 30th, 2024 Update

This week was... weird. Let's just go with weird. First, I put the wrong date on last week's post and had to fix it, but it wasn't showing up. I finally got that to work, though now there's an extra post on Goodreads, so blargh! Then, on Monday and Tuesday, I just had low motivation and only managed to finish up the background work I needed to do, which put me on the back foot for my writing. Then one of my favorite authors put out an alpha for my favorite series of theirs to their Patreons. I was so tempted to just bury myself in that and binge-read, but I resisted. Instead, I decided to write 500 words, then read a chapter and keep repeating until I was at least caught back up. In one day, I wrote 5,500 words to not only catch up with this week's quota but make up for the 1k I missed last week. I kept up the rest of the week but felt a bit burnt out by the end. Still, a good week, got to read a good book and kept on pace, even making up for the small bit I missed last week to do all that background work.

Main Project - Reborn Elite - 54,000 Words: It's been a hell of a week. But I'm back on point and moving along, even made up for that little bit I missed last week. And look, milestone, 50k achieved. I'm not positive, but I'm thinking the book will be about 150k words, so I'm about a third done. At least, I think we'll see if it ends up being longer or shorter.

Side Project 1 - Rise of the Bloodmoon Witch - 31,700 Words: I got a chapter done, so I'm just on point with this one. The chapter was a little short this week, but that will happen. The goal is just to finish a chapter each week for this one.

Side Project 2 - A Penny for a Wish - 17,200 Words: No progress again, we'll see how this week goes.
