September 16th, 2025 Update

Not much to report this week. I’m sort of in an art limbo right now. Waiting for my artist to get back around to me for the two pieces, and waiting for my friend to give me updates on the mini print and paint. I haven’t heard back much from my readers, but I'll be starting with editing today. I plan to start by writing a recap chapter to put in the beginning. Other than that, nothing much to report.

Project Updates

Primary Project - Elite Ascent - Starting to Edit: As noted above, I’m gonna start editing this week. I have a few notes, and hopefully, my beta readers will give me their thoughts before I get too deep. The first step is to write a recap chapter. After that, I’m going to try to get at least halfway through the first pass this week.

Side Project - World Anvil: I did a lot of work this week, but did not get as far as I wanted. I got RotBMW’s page to 99%. I didn’t put in the main party’s sheets, and there is some linking I can do, but I'm still not sure how I want to do the character sheets through world anvil. It is something I'll have to play with, but I'll leave that until I'm working on the second book. As for Ashes, I have organizations, characters, and items to go yet. The main party will be the most work out of any of them, and that's without their sheets. The priority for this is dropping down in my list, but I'll keep cracking away at it. I figure a few entries each night, and I should still have it to the 99% point before the release of Elite Ascent. I'm still hoping to finish before I'm done editing, because as soon as I'm done with that, I'm going to transition into world-building for the first book of the next series I want to start. But more on that in the future.
