October 28th, 2024 Update

So not too much going on this week. I'm still a little bit behind where I want to be on progress, but I got a fair bit done. So hopefully I can ramp up a little be more and get out of the slump. Nothing crazy happened so I'll take that. Got some apple turnovers, voted early, and just in general had a week.

Project Status

Main Project - Reborn Elite - 76,100 Words: On par progress for the week. I'll be moving into a new section of the book this week. It's the last large section of the book before the shorter climax. I still think 150k total is possible, but it might be closer to the length of Elite born at 130k, but I won't have a firm idea until I'm into the climax section.

Side Project 1 - Rise of the Bloodmoon Witch - 39,500 Words: I fell a little short here this week. Part of that was doing more research, and part was stressing over major choices for the character. I'm still in the middle of the latter, but getting close to the end. Honestly, this story has a bit of a slow start as the MC establishes herself in the world. I do focus more on slice-of-life and character development, so I'm satisfied, but its time to get some action.

Side Project 2 - A Penny for a Wish - 17,200 Words: Stalled as usual, but I'm hoping to pick up this week, at the very least, if I can stay fully on par for most of the week, I may take some time on Sunday evenings to give Penny attention.
