May 26th, 2025 Update

So, overall, it was an average week. I got done exactly what I wanted for the week, no more, no less, but hey, I'll take par. Otherwise than that, not much to report. I do have some family issues that may require my attention in the coming weeks, so that might slow me down at that time, but I have no idea when exactly it will happen. I won't say more and will deal with it when the time comes. I'm going to try to get ahead this week to preempt as much as I can.

Project Statuses

Main Project - Elite Ascent - 40,500 words: I caught up on the initial edits for the completed chapters, though I have one to do today and will likely have another tomorrow. Otherwise, it's coming along nicely. I'm thinking there will be two more chapters to the current section, and then I'll transition to the next.

Side Project - Rise of the Blood Moon Witch - Content edit completed: So first, I'm thinking of changing the name of this project. Namely, Rise of the Blood Moon Witch seems like it would be better as the series name. I'm debating Moon Rise as the main title. Otherwise, I got the first editing pass done. I didn't change or add as much as I thought I would. There were things my betas mentioned, and I tried to keep them in mind, but as I was reading, I just didn't find myself wanting to change much. We'll see where it goes through the next two edits. Next is another pass through Grammarly/proofreading and then the final read through and touch ups. I'm hoping to do 2 chapters a day, but this is the most tedious pass, so we'll see.

Other Projects: No progress. I was focused on keeping up and getting the first editing pass done.
