June 23rd, 2025 Update

So we're in week two of me having some extra time off. Last week was not as productive as I would have liked. I kept up on my writing, got a little bit ahead, and caught up on the initial edits for each chapter of Elite Ascent, but I fell behind on the final pass of RotBMW. So I'm going to do my best to not only keep up but get ahead this week.

In other news, I've decided to set up my Patreon. It's going to be a week or two. I've debated doing this quite a bit because I don't want to seem greedy. After doing some research, it seems I'm rather slow compared to people. I do want to eventually write full-time, so this is a step I was always going to take. Either way, the catalyst is the fact that Patron is raising the base amount they take to 10% across the board for anyone who isn't a creator before August 4th. The best I can get is 8%, so it's not much, but 2% over years could turn out to be a lot, so I might as well do it now. So with that in mind, I ordered art for the tier levels. My artist has already finished one of the six and showed me the line art for the second tier, and they look great. I can't wait to show them off. I'm also getting art done of one of my Pathfinder characters, but that will be a while.

Project Statuses

Main Project - Elite Ascent - 65,000 words: Standard week. I'm firmly into section two of the book now. The current thread in the section is taking me further than intended, but that's alright, I'm happy when my muse is productive.

Side Project Rise of the Blood Moon Witch - 3rd Pass Prologue through Ch. 16 done: So yeah, same plan as next week. Finish the 3rd editing pass and find an editor.

Other projects: Depending on how fast I finish the edit will determine if I finally get to my world anvil.
