June 16, 2025 Update

The week went exactly how I expected it to. Actually, it went a little better. I finished the character sheets and wrote. I didn't get much done on the last pass of Rise of the Blood Moon Witch, but I know going into this week that something was going to be sacrificed, and by the time I finished writing each day, my energy just took a nose dive. Overall I feel like it was a productive week. Now this week and the following two weeks I'm using up some vacation so I only work two days each week. I'm going to try and finish the last pass of RotBMW, write a bit extra, and look into a few things. I need to figure out Art for Elite Ascent and I'm thinking of setting up a Patron, so I'll need art for that. Depending on where I'm at when I finish Elite Ascent, I might get some extra character art as celebration, but we'll see.

Project Statuses

Main Project - Elite Ascent - 58,600 words: So just shy of 6k words this week. Given the amount of effort that went into the sheets, I'm considering this a successful, productive week. Right now, I'm transitioning into the next section of the book. I'm not sure how long it will be compared to the first, but overall, I plan four sections. Section one is likely the longest, and the last section will be the shortest. Considering my average so far, word wise I'm approaching halfway done.

Side Project Rise of the Blood Moon Witch - 3rd Pass Prologue through Ch. 7 done:

So plan right now is for me to finish the pass and try to find an editor this week. After that I just have to put together the cover, finalize the title, write the blurb, and put in front and back matter. I'm still debating releasing before October, we'll see where I'm at after everything is finished.

Other Projects: Nothing here, might do some this week. I know I want to put up the map I did on my website.
