July 21rst, 2025 Update

Last week was a bit of a wash. I got my usual work done on Monday, then, Tuesday we moved in my new desk. It's huge! I have to say it's about three times the size of my old desk. So between cleaning, getting the desk in, reorganizing, and taking my parents out, I was wiped. I'm also... out of shape. The rest of the week, I was so sore. Did I mention the desk is huge? It's 7ft wide by 3.5 ft deep and about three hundred lbs empty. So between being sore and suffering a bit of burnout, I decided to just call it a wash and relax. I feel like I needed it.

Main Project - Elite Ascent - 85,700 words: About a third of what I usually do. I had a lot of background stuff to finish up, and then I was just exhausted physically and mentally. That being said I'm moving fully into the third section of the book. So yeah, ready to get back to it and push forward.

Side Project - World Anvil: Behind here as well. I did half of what I wanted to get done this week. I have a few more classes to get done, so I'll finish those and then work through the rest of the skills I haven't. The next big step is characters.

Other Projects

Moonrise: So things didn't work out with the editor, and I don't think there's enough time to find someone in my price range and then do the edit. Not with me wanting to do the usual 30-day preorder. On that note I'm going to start putting together the final product. I don't know if I'm going to put it up even earlier than usual, but it might be a good idea, we'll see. I'm still debating an October 1rst release, which is a Wednesday, or if I'll drop it September 29th for the normal Monday release.

Patreon: I'm still setting this up. I got the tiers set up last week and now just have to go through the rest of the set up. I'm planning to finish it this week and launch it publicly next Monday, on the day I'm officially is saying is my 1 year anniversary of becoming an author. It's the day I put up my website and the next day I put up Elite Born for Preorder.
