January 13th, 2024 Update. The Next Stage Beings!

So not much to talk about this week. The world is crazy, my heart goes out to those currently suffering from the fires in LA. Personally, I had a break week. I got some work done on my reference materials and wrote two chapters on my side project, so still productive. Going forward I hope I can get through the edit in a decent time and still manage some progress on my second project, but we'll see.

Main Project - Reborn Elite -1st Draft Complete, Starting Developmental/Line Edit: I'm not sure what the exact terminology is, and I may not follow all the stages. Right now is mainly focusing on improving the content. I intend to do 3-4 passes. The first pass is me reading through and trying to improve the content, then it'll be passing everything through Grammarly to help me clean up mistakes, and then I'll do another read-through to try and make sure everything flows nicely. After that, I'll determine if I need another pass.

Side Project 1 - Rise of the Bloodmoon Witch - 76,800 Words: I got some decent progress done this week and even came up with a tentative plan for the rest of the book. It's still very off the cuff, and I don't know how long it will be, but my goal is to have it finished, edited, and ready to be published by October. All while working on book three of Ashes.

Other Projects: So you might notice that I changed this from side project two to other projects. I still have Penny, and when I make progress, I'll post that here. But now that I'm at the editing stage, I might not even progress my first side project until I'm done editing, much less a third project. I did start to do a little world-building for another idea that's been bouncing around in my head. I want to create a unified high fantasy world in which I can write several non-lit RPG stories. So, getting my thoughts down as they come will help.
