February 24th, 2025 Update!

As I predicted, I didn't get fully back into swing this week, but I did make some progress and plan to get back to my daily and weekly goals this week. I've decided for the time being to make Rise of Blood Moon Witch my priority and book 3 the secondary project until I get to the point of editing. There's obviously a lot of time between now and October, but I want to make sure I have the time to edit it, and unlike my first two books, I have a specific time I want to release the book. I'm hoping to get the book written completely with a few months to edit, that way I can concentrate on book 3 and edit as the secondary project. Once RotBMW is ready for release, I plan to start a third series and start rotating from there, with the secondary project taking the place of the primary once its ready. I'm not one hundred percent sure this is what I do, it really depends on the reception of any one series and where my muse is at, but that's the tentative plan.

On a side note, February has been a crazy month for Elite Born. It's jumped from 100,000 pages read to over 150,000. That's right, over a third of the pages read on KU have happened in the last few weeks. On top of that, this month has set the record for the amount of orders by surpassing 30. It's been a crazy month. To all my new readers, I hope you've enjoyed and are eager for more. To all my readers, thank you so much!

Project Statuses

Main Project - Rise of the Blood Moon Witch - 85,100 Words: I got a full week of progress in on the book. I was frankly quite scatter brained and easily distracted this week, but towards the end of it I got more on point, so this week I'm going to push to be on point and more. So far my typical book is around 130k words and I think this will reach that range. So that leaves me in the halfway to two thirds done category. I have a list of things left to accomplish, so I have a firm idea where I'm heading.

Side Project 1 - Elite Ascent - 0 Words: Elite Ascent is the tentative title for book 3. I have a basic outline and I'm going to start writing this week. I'm going to try and get the prologue and chapter 1 done, but we'll see. The goal for side projects is a chapter a week. I intend to wrap up the first arc in this book and I do already have plans for the second arc. Honestly part of me wants to get to Arc 2 as I'm eager to put some of those plans in writing.

Other Projects: Other than working on reference material and getting a personal piece of art done, no progress here. I plan to slowly put together and world build for the third series I'm planning, but that's down the line.
