December 23rd, 2024 Update. Happy Holidays!

I hope everyone is having a decent holiday season. I just got back from visiting my parents. I work the same days pretty much no matter what, so I'll have Christmas Eve off, but not Christmas Day. It is what it is, though. Now, onto progress and the near future. I don't see any interruptions to my writing process, and on that note, I'm getting close to the end of Reborn Elite. I'm currently writing the climax chapter and plan for 2-3 chapters after the epilogue. That being said, if my muse takes me, I might focus completely on finishing it. We'll see, though, so I'm guessing 1-3 weeks at this point. After that, I need to go through the editing process and I am still waiting for my artist on the cover art. I'll likely poke him beginning of January to see where he's at.

Project Statuses

Main Project - Reborn Elite - 124,500 Words: So, the book is going to turn out a little shorter than I expected. I'm guessing just over 130k now, so slightly longer than Elite Born. As I said above, I'm writing the climax right now and then have a couple of chapters of aftermath to get through. So, my side project may suffer if I get really ambitious and push to finish. If not, we're still looking at a couple of weeks. As soon as I finish, I'll take a week off and then dive into editing.

Side Project 1 - Rise of the Bloodmoon Witch - 64,100 Words: Good progress this week, I had fun with the chapter. I'm a little bit lost as where to go from here, but I'll trudge through. I have a basic ending for the book figured out, now I just have to bridge where I'm at and the end. I have a few ideas, but I'll have to play with them and see where things go.

Side Project 2 - A Penny for a Wish - 17,500 Words: With how close I am to finishing Reborn Elite I don't see me progressing this until its finished, and even then it will be last priority.
