August 8th 2024 Update
Hello! I hope everyone has a good week.
I've uploaded to Amazon and the Ebook is ready for order. It and the paperback and hardcover versions will be available 8/26/2024. I hope everyone enjoys at that time and please leave a review. Constructive criticism is always welcome.
In the meanwhile I've been working on getting the word out, showing it to my acquaintances, joining discord servers, and even going on Reddit to get the word out as much as I can. I've also been working on other projects. The first one is a bit or world building for Elite Born and its follow up story. I started on a map for the world and will post it once I get a bit more done on it. I also worked on updating and organizing my reference sheets. I may in the future transfer these to World Anvil, but right now its an expense I can't justify.
Lastly I worked a little on actually writing future stories, including Reborn Elite. Reborn Elite is the working title for now, but unless I come up with something better its likely to stick.
Project Statues
Main Project - Reborn Elite - 2300 Words: This is the follow up to Elite Born and is my main project. I plan to try to get between 6k-10k words a week. The first chapter is a little slow going cause I have to parse out advancement based on the events at the end of Elite Born.
Side Project 1 - Rise of the Bloodmoon Witch - 8000 words: RotBMW is an idea that popped into my head a little over a month ago and I've been poking it here and there. Its a Modern/Urban Fantasy Isekai LitRPG that is going to feature a vampire MC.
Side Project 2 - A Penny for a Wish - 15,000 words: A Penny for a Wish is a Fantasy story where an orphaned kitsune finds a Djinn's lamp and smartly uses their first wish to free the Djinn. In gratitude the Djinn gifts/coerces them with one free wish that quickly turns their life upside down. I made no progress on this project this week, and I need to subject it to my current workflow and give it a Quality Control Editing pass which is something I do standard now whenever I finish a chapter. I don't consider this on hiatus even though its been a while since I worked on it, but its 3rd priority at this time.
