August 12th, 2024 Update

Another week past and this is the first week back in full swing since I finished Elite Born and got back to working on projects. Advertising has slowed down this week and I'm still looking for places to promote it. Several leads will have to wait for the book to be out, but I'm hopeful they'll be a big boost. Otherwise than that there isn't much to report this week, so I hope everyone is well!

Project Statuses

Main Project - Reborn Elite - 8,500 words: While this is the minimum progress I want to achieve each week, 1k words a day accept sundays, this is a deceptive number as I spent a lot of time updating my reference documents and designing a character. I'm not sure if I reached the 10k word total towards this project this week, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Side Project 1 - Rise of the Bloodmoon Witch - 11,200 words: Decent progress here considering this is my side project. I admit, some days its hard not to focus on this project. I love urban fantasy, and I'm so often disappointed with vampire stories cause the vampire characters are always denying their nature, only drinking from animals, or the vampire curse itself makes so they have to kill or turn anyone they bite. I want a vampire story where the vampire is a good guy and completely rocks being a vampire.

Sid Project 2 -A Penny for a Wish - 15,000 words: Not much work done on this one. I work a full time job and this is my last priority at the moment, but in an effort to keep it from fading from my mind I did put in a little work. I started a quality control editing pass and got through the prologue and first chapter.
