August 11th, 2028 Update

This was kind of a frustrating week for me. I was short on sleep most days, and motivation ran out quickly. That being said, writing-wise, I hit the mark. Other projects, not so much. I also came to the realization that for the rest of the year, I'm going to be a bit of a nervous wreck. Why? Well, In October, I'm starting a new series. I should be able to finish and publish Elite Ascent before the end of the ear, which is the end of the first arc, so that's big. Oh, and I plan to start world-building and writing the first book of another series that my muse has been poke me about for a long time at this point. So yeah... I'll get through, but the remainder of the year is going to be a bit of a ride.

Project Statuses

Main Project - Elite Ascent - 102,100 words: Even missing a day due to sleep and lack of motivation, I kept up. Honestly, lack of motivation was directed at my writing, so I was able to catch up here at least. So, where am I at? I'm working up to the climax. I think I have two or three chapters to get through that and move on to the final section of the book. The final section won't be long, but it is the cleanup for the first arc. I also sent out the art brief for Elite Ascent's cover. My artist is finishing up a commission first, but he should get to it before I finish writing by my estimation.

Side Project- World Anvil: I... did not get much done here. I'm going to switch tracks and start on the one for RotBMW. I'm going to try to catch up a bit on Ashe's world anvil, but I need RotBMW's set up so I can get the link and I want it complete by the time Moonrise launches, but it's not going to take as much to set up as Ashes.
