April 28th, 2025 Update

Pretty average week. I still feel like I didn't get as much done as I would have liked, but a good portion of that is from not working on a secondary writing project. I got slightly more than average done on Elite Ascent for the week and worked on the map for the world of The Ashes series. I didn't start working with World Anvil, but I intend to make the purchase today and play with it for a little bit. Otherwise, I'm going to start on the slow edit of RotBMW this week.

Project Statuses

Main Project - Elite Ascent - 16,400 Words: A solid week of progress. I would have liked slightly more, but I had a couple of rough days mixed with days of good progress. I'll take being slightly ahead for the week.

Side Project 1 - RotBMW - Rough Draft Complete: I'm going to start editing this week. I plan to do 2 chapters a day after I do my writing on Elite Ascent. I have some ideas for the content edit and I think this is going to be my most extensive content edit, but I also wrote half of this book without much of an outline and as a secondary project. The Art for the cover is coming along, knowing my artist I'll be able to show that next week.

Other Projects: The map for Rae'Cairne, the world Ashes is set in, is coming along. I still have a lot of topography to add, and the map is subject to change. But I want to get it to a presentable state so I can put it up on my website and in World Anvil for people to reference.
