April 20th, 2026 Update

Oh boy... Some of you who are on me Patreon are likely aware, but last week and the beginning of this week have been... yikes. The last twenty-four hours have given me whiplash. The start of last week went terribly, a bout of insomnia followed by sleeping poorly, and I just was not able to write Monday and Tuesday. That said, I'm only 500 words behind for the week. I was going to try to make that up last night, but then Reddit drama happened. I won't go into detail, but let's just say I won't be posting on the r/sapphicbooks Reddit anymore. The mod's response to me this morning definitely put the nail in the coffin. On top of that, apparently my credit is good enough for a car loan, but not a bed. Mind you, I was looking at a Sleep Number bed, so I'll be exploring different options to hopefully help me sleep better. Either that, or the credit card I'm getting through my bank will help me build my credit from the good range to excellent.

Project Status

Lost Mask - 135,500 Words: I'm going to try to do 2k words either today or tomorrow to make up for last week. That said, I have two scenes before I move into the next section of the book. I think I can get both done in one chapter, then we're looking at 3-5 chapters to close it out. So the 150k mark is looking more and more accurate.
